I'm in Montreal with Oh God. We got to town, a show was played (I assume) and we were heading to where we were staying. Gerry and Holly had somewhere to stay, with themselves or with a friend, and the rest of us were going to a party at Janice's. It wasn't the same, cute little apartment she had when the Hold stayed with her. Now, she was living in a cookie cutter apartment in a huge highrise.
We spend quite some time in her place, getting wasted. At some point, Jake and I decided to go to the store to get cigarettes and junk food. We took orders from everyone and set out. The trouble began in the elevator.
I reached out and pressed the button for the 9th floor. The elevator started going up. "Oops. I guess it's going to 9 first." (Janice lived on 8) To try to fix the problem, Jake pressed 6. [Keep in mind, we're really messed up. Even though I'm dreaming, the dizziness and confusion is very real]. "No, we just want to go to the ground floor, right?" I press, what I think is the button for the ground floor. It's not. It's a red button next to it. The elevator starts flying to the top at an amazing speed. "What going on?" I guess I had pushed some sort of emergency release button. Why it pulls us to the top of the building, I'll never understand. I fall to the floor, and pull myself into the corner, afraid. "What's wrong with this elevator?" "It's like it's possessed or something." Heart pounding, I light my last cigarette. The floor numbers are quickly turning, and we stop on floor 111. I didn't know the building was that tall. There isn't that many buttons on the elevator, and there's something disturbing about the number being one-one-one.
With the elevator stopped, we talk for a bit. We both think we're going to die.

When asked what took so long, I kinda forced a chuckle and said "elevator problems." I didn't go into details, but said I was so drunk I pushed a few wrong buttons.

It's the next morning, and we're all getting ready to leave. There are three elevators, but I follow the people ahead of me into the exact same one as the night before. I felt a little frightened, but shook it off, thinking to myself that it was all a mistake; no need to be afraid. Once again, I don't know why, I pushed the red button, instead of the ground floor button, and we all went shooting up to floor 111. A message appears on a small screen in front of me. I'm the only one to read it.
We have the FBI investigating what happened in this elevator last night.
But don't worry.
They think it was Eben.
We get to the ground floor, and I walked hurriedly to the vehicle. I try to get everyone to follow me. I want to get out of this province and on my way home. I know they're watching us.
